Highlights of the Radon Jealous 10.0

But first things first: The basis for a really light cross-country bike is the JEALOUS carbon frame, which is beyond reproach. With its approx. 950 grams of weight, it inspires and yet offers all the technology that is required. The cables are routed internally, Boost axle dimensions for increased wheel stiffness are on board, the seat stays are very thin and flexible for comfort and a variable post can also be installed very easily. At the front, the super-light Rock Shox SID Ultimate springs and dampens with its sporty, taut 100 mm of travel and can also be locked comfortably from the wrist via Twistloc for the sprint to the finish. The 12-speed X01 Eagle shifting system from SRAM changes gears fast and precisely and, with its 10-52 tooth cassette, still has the right gear for the steepest, most technical climbs. The Newmen H-Bar Advanced carbon handlebar and the post made of the same material provide the necessary comfort and control. You don’t have to worry about reliable brakes in demanding downhill terrain: on the JEALOUS 10.0, we mount the super-light yet sturdy Magura MT8 with hand-flattering levers. Then, to minimise rotating mass for fast pedalling, we specify both lightweight carbon wheels and matching tires that roll well. The wheelset is the iconic Reynolds Black Label 309/289 with SUNringlé Super Bubba X hubs, which in addition to low weight also boasts durability and stiffness – and looks great! The top tire combination from Schwalbe, Racing Ray at the front and Racing Ralph at the rear, spins on top of this in a chic transparent skin look, and combines good rolling characteristics and grip in the best manner when it is necessary. JEALOUS 10.0 is ready for take-off!

The heart of all JEALOUS models is the superlite carbon frame. The carbon fibres used make it light and stiff, so it is designed for maximum propulsion. The geometry is designed for 100mm travel at the front, giving the models a clear direction straight to the winner’s podium. To ensure that the look is not neglected, all cables are routed internally – openings on the drive side are thus a thing of the past. The JEALOUS is your perfect set-up for the next race, where you set the pace.

The Jealous Frame

There is no cleaner look and higher stiffness than with the JEALOUS carbon frames. The special carbon fibres used make the JEALOUS frame not only stiff and therefore extremely progressive, but also comfortable. With its clean and striking design, the carbon frame not only cuts a fine figure, it is also designed to withstand loads. The brake lines and shift cables are routed internally to protect them from dirt. This also makes openings on the drive side of the frame a thing of the past. Stiffness is provided by the large tube cross-sections of the frame and the Boost standard at the rear additionally supports the stiffness. The frame weight of 950g and the World Cup-tested geometry form a perfect package that makes podium finishes child’s play.
