The CRAGGER 8.0 is an integral part of our trail hardtail portfolio. This season, too, the CRAGGER 8.0 shines with excellent features and a noble finish in raw alloy.
Highlights of the Cragger 8.0
The basis is our lightweight aluminium frame, thanks to the special yoke you have enough space for your favourite tire and can also convert to 650b tires if required. The DVO Sapphire D1 comes with 130mm of travel and offers you perfect adjustment possibilities for ultimate trail performance. With the 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle groupset, you can enjoy crisp gear changes and an enormous range – even long and steep climbs can now be enjoyed with pleasure. And the mood gets even better as soon as you turn onto your favourite trail: this is where the CRAGGER 8.0 feels most at home and is fully in its element. Root carpets are ironed out and technical passages are mastered with ease. With the 4-piston Magura MT5 brake, you always have a faithful anchor at hand, even in the steepest sections, which decelerates at record speed when needed and does not overheat even on long descents. When it comes to grip, we have taken the praise from last season in our stride and have once again given the CRAGGER 8.0 the dream combination of the Newmen Performance 30 wheelset and the legendary Maxxis DHF/DHR II tires for ultimate grip. With an e*thirteen cockpit and dropper post, we round off the dream package and take your trail performance to the next level – with the CRAGGER 8.0 it’s a walk in the park.
The Cragger Family
Our CRAGGER was one of the first bikes of a new category, which has now established itself and is no longer imaginable without – trail-hardtails! With a geometry designed for trail fun and comparatively manageable technology, they aim at pure mountain biking. Instead of the usual 100mm suspension travel for hardtails, we install here 130mm for more reserves in the downhill, short-wide cockpits, stable wheels as well as tires and always directly a dropperpost for a lot of freedom of movement and control in the trail. The steering angle is quite flat at 65 °, the tire clearance large and CRAGGER is designed as standard for single drives. In addition to the waiver of a front derailleur mount, the shift cables are routed internally for a clean look, but at the same time everything is designed for ease of service. CRAGGER – everything for the trail!
Please note that pedals are not included!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting persistent disturbances in global supply chains, the illustrations and equipment information may differ from the actual bicycles.
